Kanske
I agree and dont agree. I have worked in different companies and seen the effect of bad managers and descions etc (I would say 2 in 3 managers should be fired) Due to the following : 1. New manager : Leads to harder work for those concerned (to prove themselves to their manager (change the rules,I am a good manager) work people harder, more people signing sick, due to, unable to perform (lack of training), lack of recognition in the work they do (also a big factor) and also seeing others work less hours with MUCH more pay (like their new manager and trying to cope with their own LIFE and ECONOMY). Causes resentment and BIG turnover of staff.
A manager should be given realistic targets : based on performance of their employees than theirselves. eg number of sales, motivation, turnover of staff, attendance of employees, and well being. The last quality is the most important to achieve a balance without high turnover of staff and high recruitment costs and sickness payments due to BAD management.
From an International manager working across borders.
Not really much to do with sickness payments, otherwise I would be sipping cocktails as well now………………..
